Rhombus Ruler, King Of Cot And Cone
Rhombus and his navy sail away on the long line that leads to Infinity.
His three military commanders Angle, Fraction and Cube accompany him on his mathematical journey.
Rhombus, originally a perfect diamond shape, becomes deformed. The three commanders say that his deformities and other afflictions are caused by his blasphemous attitude toward The Infinite.
Angle, Fraction and Cube represent an outdated view of The Infinite as a punishing, burning, Mathsfire fiend. Rhombus disagrees with their view of God.
Rhombus maintains that God is not like this, that God is so harmless that he couldn’t hurt a fly.
The Infinite visits them all and justifies the view of Rhombus. This story is a jazzed-up mathematical version of the biblical Book of Job.
